George Soros, Fighting President Trump With Donor Loyalty

With his previous well published large political contributions to presidential candidates; George Soros has revealed his undying support to the Democratic party. In November, following the election of Donald Trump; Soros made it clear that any remaining funds from his $25 million dollar donation would go towards continued efforts against Donald Trump’s presidency.

Soros has called for all political backers and other major contributors to band together to launch stiff opposition to the President’s 100 day plan on Forbes. His support is aimed at reversing the Republican’s agenda, which has been discussed with key Democratic leaders behind closed doors. George Soros and his legion of supporters have taken offense to President Trump and the direction he appears to be headed. It was stated that the current plans by the Trump administration is, “a terrifying assault on President Obama’s achievements — and our progressive vision for an equitable and just nation.”

The backers that George Soros is calling for to join him in the fight aren’t random donors on discoverthenetworks.org. In fact, they’re a part of a much larger political networking organization called, Democracy Alliance (DA). The DA was founded in 2004 and it has over a 100 partners. These partners are considered major political donors; so when they talk, people tend to listen closely. George Soros is banking on the alliance to launch stiff opposition to the President.

George Soros is not backing down from his efforts to finding a strategy or idea to combat the most pressing issues facing the Democracy Alliance. Many are suggesting that that Alliance needs to come up with a new approach if they expect to thrash the efforts of the Trump administration on businessinsider.com. Soros hasn’t been shy about his plans, because he believes that it isn’t a matter of “finger pointing.” He doesn’t think blaming or finger pointing is an effective strategy to take power back. Instead the Democrats need to implement steps that can establish a powerful surge of opposition in 2017 and 2018.

In addition to utilizing the funds left over from the Presidential campaign, George Soros isn’t afraid to add more money if there is even the slightest breakthrough. So far the efforts are private sessions, closed to public. But, there have been a number of conference calls with the DA and democratic representatives. The calls haven’t resulted in any positive developments yet and on one such call about furthering the training of Democrats; an argument ensued with Congressman Ralph Ellison. Ellison asked the donors for their full support.

The Democracy Alliance was created by George Soros, following the 2004 election. Another founding partner included the late Peter B, Lewis, the Progressive insurance billionaire who passed away in November 2013. The other billionaire donors banded with Soros are pressing forward with their plans to denounce President Trump. Together donors have contributed more than $500 million dollars in support of major Democratic matters. George Soros contends to keeping fighting, because already he, “has lived through Nazism and Communism.”
