Kheradpir’s Coriant Comeback

The optical networks company has named Shaygan Kheradpir as its new Chief executive officer. Is the name Shaygan Kheradpir is a familiar name, then it means that you might have heard the name in the TV shows in 2014. This was the short tenure that he served as the Jupiter Networks CEO. He worked there for ten months and started strategy review that made the company go to its greater heights that it had never gone before.

In less than a year, after exiting from the Jupiter networks, Kheradpir now runs Coriant company, taking over from Pat DiPetro, who now became the vice chairperson and wet back into the earlier role of operating as a partner at the Marlin Equity Partners. This is a private equity firm, through stitching together the optical units of Nokia put together the company Coriant.

Shaygan Kheradpir is not walking blindly into Coriant. This is according to a vendor that has been working closely with Shaygan Kheradpir. He says that Shaygan will work closely with the management of the institution and develop lasting results that will leave the company in a better state than he ever found it.

The vendor also had to say that Kheradpir is a recognized business and technology leader in the world and has all the required experience the t is expected to make a lasting company. He says that the 28 years of experience that Shaygan has will never be wasted. He says that he has worked in the financial institutions as well as technological institutions and both of them have languished.

DiPietro also said that he and the entire fraternity of the company are much honored to have Shaygan Kheradpir as the company’s new chief executive officer. He says that the firm is fortunate to have such an experienced person with a proven track record in his entire career and profession. His strategic guidance and insight on the focused execution and operations have all been a valuable asset ever since he started his career.

Before Shaygan joined Jupiter networks in 2014, he was the technology officer as well as the chief operations officer at Verizon Communications. He is a much-focused member of any team that he is put in and focuses on achieving any technological or any need that the company has him do. At Barclays, he oversaw the development of mobile banking that was the future of the bank in business.

Coriant’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, Shaygan Kheradpir, boasts nearly three decades of executive experience. He has served in a variety of industries, including financial service, telecommunications, and technology. Having earned a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in engineering from Cornell University, Shaygan started out his career at GTE Corporation. He worked his way up to the potion of EVP and Chief Information Officer at Verizon and was appointed to the executive leadership team. Under his leadership, systems were modernized, innovated, and made more efficient. He helped to oversee the FiOS infrastructure program, which entailed more than $20 billion in capital investments.

Shaygan has also served Chief Operations and Technology Officer for Barclays, where he was a member of the Executive Committee. Barclays employs over 150,000 people in 50 different countries. In his role there, Shaygan spearheaded the TRANSFORM program, which brought the bank into the 21st century and brought him to the attention of Juniper Networks.

When Coriant finally recruited this unique talent, he was working as an Operating Partner at Marlin Equity Partners. In that capacity, Shaygan concentrated on technology and telecom investments.
